Fiction/Non-Fiction?
The content is fiction, but the context is nonfiction
Review:
This is very much in the same style as Brown Bear Brown Bear. That easy rhyming, gentle flow. But, it includes story references from the Bible and the scripture references for them. It’s a very simple, fun little book. My kids are honestly a little old for it now, but they still really enjoy reading through it. I really like that it includes the verses if you wanted to follow through on diving deeper.
Kid Thoughts:
They really enjoy the simple rhymes and colorful pictures.
Content Considerations:
This is a Christian book.
Possible Categories:
Bible Stories, Rhyming, Early Picture Books
Worth the Shelf Space?
I think so! I don’t think it’s absolutely necessary by any means, but a fun one to have.
