Review:
The art style in this one is not my jam. At all. But the content is really good. It’s a fun, silly book about how nouns and verbs work together to make sentences. The words are personified as they have their own field day to mirror the kids’ field day. I found it really helpful in reinforcing the concepts of both verbs and nouns. There’s helpful ideas and suggestions in the back that I found very useful! Overall a good one, but if I didn’t already own it, I would probably opt to just check it out from the library.
Kid Thoughts:
They loved it! They giggled all the way through, and by the end, the younger girls had a much better grasp on nouns and verbs. There are some good, age appropriate jokes, like that pizza didn’t want to team up with chew!
Content Considerations:
I know some homeschoolers don’t like any books that include school. So, that’s the only thing I can really come up with. The nouns and verbs are in a classroom.

Worth the Shelf Space?
I already have it, so I’m not getting rid of it. But, if you don’t own it, I think checking it out from the library would be sufficient.
