Review:

The classic! Such a fun, silly read. We’ve read it so many times, and it never gets old. Amelia is always up to something silly. Misinterpreting everything and taking things very literally. It makes for some fun discussions in our real life when someone uses an idiom. Like, if I said, “I’m so hungry I could eat a horse!” one of the kids would say, “But not the way Amelia Bedelia would think!” It leads to a lot of talks about what Amelia Bedelia would do if someone had said those phrases to her. Even Tom laughs every time he hears this one!

Kid Thoughts:

They love it! I can’t count the number of times we’ve read this one. Such a favorite. Constantly referenced and enjoyed!
