Review:

Peter has a new baby sister and all of his things are becoming her things! This is a good one for kids who have a new baby on the scene, or who are just outgrowing favorite things and it’s time to pass them along to someone younger. A very enjoyable, short book about Peter as he works through his emotions around having a new baby sister who needs all of his baby things. Definitely one any child who has had to pass on things to someone else can relate to.

Kid Thoughts:

This opened up some good conversations about outgrowing things and having new siblings. Evie was a little critical of Peter in the beginning, “He should be happy there’s a new baby!” But after we talked about it a little she was a little more understanding that he was scared and confused.

Content Considerations:

None I can think of.
